Hi,

You had consumed Northestine on fourth day of your cycle for heavy bleeding. These pills were taken for 4 days to stop the bleeding and after discontinuing the pills, again you got some bleeding. This is all hormonal effect. Northestine contains progestational medicine. It has following after effects:

1. Few days after discontinuing the pills, some amount of bleeding does happen which you have experienced.

2. The following menses are delayed by few days to a week's time. Please be patient. There is no necessity of worrying for delayed menses. You will get your menses within few days. If they do not show up, you may please report to a Gynecologist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nishikant Shrotri
