What Causes Delay In Period?
I m about 3 days late on my period my lower abdomen has been feeling tender so I went to a clinic they gave me an ultrasound and it looked like there was fluid in my uterus. But blood work came up negative for pregnancy. What else could be going on?

I understood your concern and My opinion is that you may be having delayed period due to hormonal changes becasue your pregnancy work up is negative, so please wait for one more week it will definately come ,if it does not come after a one week than i will advise to do repeat urine pregnancy test
REgarding fluid in uterus if its in mild quantity than nothing to worry but if its more than you require to go for dilatation and evacuation or Hysteroscopy if it is other pathology to find out cause
