What Causes Delay In Period Despite Having Plan B Post Intercourse?
Hi, okay so 2 things.. On Friday I had unprotected sex n the condom actually got lost inside me n we didn t know until after sex and I had to take a plan b on Saturday. That s same weekend on a Sunday night I had unprotected sex again n he 100% ejaculated into me and I took another plan b the next morning on Monday. I m not on birth control n I m not sure if I am okay or not. And My last period was on March 7. Plus my around my labia n inside my vagina has been extremely itchy. This has never happened to me before. And I researched n it can possibly be a yeast infection?? There is no discharge but there is the cottage cheese like substance
Hello I appreciate your concern Looking at your detail history this could be STI like candida infection or bacterial vaginosis Delay in periods can be caused by hormonal imbalances or infection, stress and anxiety
In my opinion you need to consult a gynaecologist for examination and a battery of tests like urine culture and sensitivity test and vaginal swab test
You may require a course of antibiotics or antifungal oral drugs or vaginal pessaries Maintain good hygiene Have plenty of fluids Use condom for sex until you get rid of it. Thanks and regards
