Thank you for consulting in HealthCareMagic. Lactational amenorrhoea is a normal physiological condition wherein the suckling of the child provides a stimulus that prevents the hormonal surge that is responsible for ovulation. Since that does not occur, the periods do not occur when you are breast feeding the baby. Breast feeding therefore acts as a contraceptive measure though it is not fool proof. I hope you can hold the implanon as of now as the breast feeding is taking care of the stuff. And you are unlikely to be pregnant at this point of time.

Hope my answer was helpful for you. I am happy to help any time. Further clarifications and consultations on HealthCareMagic are welcome. Wish you and your kid good health.
