What Causes Dehydration, Nausea And Abdominal Pain?

I have suddenly began feeling unwell. My symptoms are nausea, stomach pains, soft stool and dehydration, my throat keeps going dry almost immediately after I drink water. I looked up my symptoms and I m slightly worried it could be something like cholera. I don t know, should I go to my local doctor?

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Yes, possibility of acute gastroenteritis is more likely in your case. This can be cholera or other infection.
So consult doctor and get done ultrasound examination of abdomen and stool microscopic examination.
You will need antibiotics, probiotics, oral rehydration solution (ORS) and zinc tablets.
Drink plenty of fluids orally and keep yourself hydrated.
Antacid and anti emetic combination is also beneficial for nausea.
Don't worry, you will be alright with all these.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
