What Causes Deformed Wrist Post Injury With Normal X Ray?

Is it possible to have a coule fracture or smith fracture even though it doesnt show in xray? I recently have an auto accident. A car rear ended me, went to urgent care, got an xray but the dr said no broken bones but my wrist look deformed, like a small bump on my wrist is showing. It is not painful but it aches and sensitive to touch And makes my fingers tingle. What do u think of my injury?

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Get CT scan of your wrist done to exactly define your cause of pain. I want to see the present condition of small bones of wrist.

Till then you can take aceclofenac + serratiopeptidase combination three times a day by discussing it with your family doctor.

I hope it helps.

Thanks.

Dr.Singh.
