Last Monday I got ringing in my ear now I cannot hear out of my left ear. I went to visit a Dr and he prescribed me with Amoxicillin, a week later I still can't hear. What can I do and do you think I'm going deaf? I am 26 years old and I'm freaking out.
hello, thanks for ur query, ear is connect by nose by et ( eusthacian tube) , whenever this tube blocked ( cold, flu, sinusitis, allergy) u feel ear block sensation and ringing sensation. u can start decongestant tab. xyzal- d ( levocitrizine+ pseudoephidrine) one tab at bed time for7 days, xylometazoline nasal drops 3 drops/ 3 time/1 week. valsalva manoere ( watch utube ) , chew chewing gum can be tried ,all d best. take care.
