What Causes Dark Vaginal Discharge And Breast Tenderness After Having Unsafe Sex?

Excuse me I was wondering if you could help me. I have a serious question, I am 19 years old and I had unprotected sex on the 29th of February and 25th of March, 2016. However, the guy did pull out all the time. The first time we had sex was 2 days after my period ended. The second time we had sex was 3 days after my ovulation period because the vaginal discharge had changed from the egg white substance to a kind of darkish creamy substance. However, I have begun to feel tenderness in both of my nipples, lower back pains, a bit of fatigueness and cramping, although this is all normal for me as I have these symptoms before my period anyways. My period should be due sometime this week if these cramps are anything to go by but I still have a question. Am I pregnant? (Side-note: my periods are slightly irregular so I don t always keep track of them, I just go by the cramps and other symptoms)

Hello,

I can understand your concern. Unprotected sexual intercourse always carries a chance of pregnancy even though your partner ejaculates outside the vagina. Males tend to pre-ejaculate some fluids during sexual intercourse which also contains sperms and are able to make you pregnant. Thus, if you are having unprotected sex and not using any method of contraception before, during or after sex, you are always running a risk of pregnancy. In addition, you are saying that your periods are irregular. So you never know when you are ovulating and what are the safe and unsafe days regarding conceiving.

If you want to confirm if you are pregnant or not, you can take a home pregnancy test with first urine of the morning or go for a blood pregnancy test which is more reliable and confirmatory. If you get your periods as you get regularly, do use contraception like condoms, birth control pills or intrauterine devise during future sexual encounters.

I hope this information helps you. Thank you for choosing HealthcareMagic. Let me know if you have follow up questions.

Best,
Dr. Viraj Shah
