Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have a very dark (almost dark chocolate) urinary discharge when I have to pee. I had a gastric sleeve operation 4 months ago. I have lost about 55 pounds since the operation. I just noticed it yesterday, and it seems to continue. Is this a serious situation? I will call my Dr. on Monday. Is this something that needs immediate attention? Thanks for your thoughts.
You have problem of dark urine that may be because of bleeding in urinary tract . Liver disorder also cause dark urine problems. Hemolytic anemia also ruled out. Consent a physician for further diagnosis. Urine test and microscopic examination is helpful for diagnosis.
I hope my guidance is helpful to you.. Take care. Thank you.
