I ve started using 300 mg Lyrica in combination with my 1200 mg of Trileptal (4x300mg) almost a month ago and now my urine is darker and cloudy with a strong smell. I also noticed pityriasis rosea on my body, may not be related but still. Is the urine change a bad thing ? Is the new meds a result of that ?
Normally (dark urine)concentrated urine smells because of ammonia presence. as your current medication may cause dark and strong odor in urine.
however ,certain foods may also cause such odor in urine.as your medication may cause odour in your urine. Many pathological condition like diabetes, bladder infection, dehydration, metabolic disease may give unusual smell in urine. normally
kindly do urine routine and urine culture to rule out the cause.
Kindly visit your physician with the urine culture report for assistance and guidance.
