What Causes Dark Stool?
I had a bowel movement this morning. The stools were dark brown--darker than usual. I am not sure if there was blood in the stools. I am supposed to have a bone marrow biopsy tomorrow due to my doctor s concerns about my white blood counts being abnormal. Are they related and do I have anything else to worry about.

I really appreciate your concern, if this is the malignancy being suspected particularly for leukemia then such color of stool which is dark brown could be great matter of concern, but before this rule out the possibility of any food taken which might gave the brown color to stool hope this information helps.
