Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi, I m 28 years old and have a dark pigmentation on my fore head and cheeks, currently using Bio oil with the suggestion of my friend. However I don t see much of a difference and I m using this for couple of months now. Now one of my friend s is suggesting me a Depiwhite cream to treat the pigmentation, so wanted to know if this is the best cream to use to get rid of this and I have this pigmentation for more than 6 years.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of dark pigmentation on the forehead which seems to be due to increased senstivity of your skin of getting pigmented , this sometimes occur due to excessive sun exposure or hormonal changes . It could be due to excessive production of melanocytes. I would suggest you to start with application of cream containing koji acid. Apply clindamycin gel at night time on face. You should take diet rich in fluids and multivitamins. I would suggest you to visit dermatologist once and get it examined. You should apply sunscreen TANCARE rich in spf 26. Avoid exposure to sunlight. Drink plenty of water.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon. Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
