What Causes Dark Patches On Glans Penis?

Hi , i had dark black patches on my penis glans , i consulted a sexologist and he diagnosed it as balanitis and prescribed zole-f ointment, however after a week , there is no considerable change, my penis glans and foreskin are very dry after application of zole-f , plz help

Thank you for asking HCM.
I have gone through your query. Your problem can be due to fungal infection and dryness. Avoid soaps and irritants to wash the area and instead you can use saline or warm water. If applying Zole f causing dryness and irritation it can be stopped. You can ask your doctor for other anti fungal creams like terbinafine. Or you can use aloe Vera gel for local application.
