What Causes Dark Eye Sockets After Having Injection In Knee?

I have developed dark eye sockets. I just noticed them today. I am 71 and take several medications. I have decided to have total knee replacement which will not be until April 27. Yesterday I received an injection in my knee to ease the discomfort until the day of the surgery. Could this probably be the problem? I have been getting plenty of sleep and do not seem to be dehydrated. Any help? Thanks.

dark eye socket is not related to knee problem or treatment. it is only over pigmentation. you can apply sunscreen lotion.
