hi honorable dr, i have some question: i have dark cough comes and uneasy to breath. neck pain. some feeling week with dizzy headache. may i know whats its cause? i checked with ent dr he says it is alergic in neck. should i check up other details? many thanks
Hi. Thanks for your query. Noted your history of dark colored cough (phlegm) that is not easy to break (tenacious). You are also feeling weak, dizzy and have headache. The causes can be: The allergy usually gives thin and watery secretions, but the thick tenacious phlegm may be due to drying up during night, during sleep, dehydration or infection. Weakness, dizziness and headache can be due to general symptoms due to infection. Check up with another ENT or other Doctor, get clinical evaluation done and get investigations to get a proper diagnosis and treatment. And you will be fine.
