General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi.

The metformin is simply to address the cysts and your hormone levels. I would recommend adequate hormonal therapy and surgery to help rid you of the cyst permanently as it has grown in size and can further. Please speak to your doctot about this as it is the best solution as of now.

Best wishes.
