What Causes Cyst In Between The Eye And Temple?

I have what I believe is a cyst on the left side of my face. Between my eye and temple. It started as like a very small bump then over 3 months has grown to the size of about 2 peas. I have seen multiple doctors and am currently seeing a specialist. I m just curious as to what type of cyst this is, or if it is a tumor, or what.. I m so confused.

Hii ,
Welcome To HCM & Thanks For Asking Your Query Here

It seems from the history that you are having a lump between left eye and temple , But As You did not mention anything else like whether the lump is hard or soft , does it moves with finger or not , is it tender (pain on touch ) or not , are u having pain or not

if your lump is hard to firm in consistency. it may be a Dermoid cyst.
This usually appears at the junction of the bony eye socket with the surrounding bones.
Usually dermoid cysts are benign or non harmful lesions and they will not lead to any complications

if it is pale , round in shape and is movable than it might be a Sebaceous cyst...
a sebaceous cysts are often harmless and cause no pain, they may require no treatment. They may also go away on their own

Occasionally, a sebaceous cyst may become infected

An infected or large sebaceous cyst may also be removed surgically. This is a minor procedure that can be done on an outpatient basis.

i would strongly suggest you to visit your doctor to have it checked to rule out whether it is a cyst or something else because a lump can be a cyst , it can be tumor as well
your doctor will examine it properly

remember any lump in initial stage has very good prognosis (mean it has good chance to treat )
so have a visit with your doctor to get it examine as soon as possible

I Hope it Helps
