General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI,
Thank you for your query.
I understand your concern.
You seem to have lactational amenorrhea for all these days. THe cause of your pink discharge can be-
Lactation is known to be associated with irregular bleeding .
- Getting back to normal menses after stopping breast feeding.. the bleeding tends to be irregular, changing pattern for few months.
- If you are sure about ovulation,in last month & had unprotected sex.. possibility of pregnancy is there... in such case pink bleeding after about 8-10 days of ovulation can be implantation bleeding.
Home pregnancy test would be +ve after 8 days post date of menses. The test you had done might have been earlier to be +ve.
- Apart from this routine causes of such bleeding including cervical erosion/vaginitis/ pelvic inflammation / cervical polyp need to be excluded.
* you should get pregnancy test done after 8 days delay in expected menses date.( about 3 weeks from ovulation )This would confirm/ exclude pregnancy.
If it's not.. consult a gynecologist for further evaluation of health.
Thanks.
