Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi, cracking sound at knee joints while bending in a 9 year old child can be normal or due to calcium deficiency. In my opinion, you should do calcium and phosphate levels in child with x ray wrist to look for rickets. If calcium deficiency is found than child will require calcium syrup for 3 months. Revert back with above reports. Take care.
