What Causes Coughing?
Dr,I have cough with phlegm for three weeks,and also on breast feeding,I saw the doctor he gave me antibiotics and Mucolyte tablet .I take this medicine for 12 days.My coughing is reduced But until i have mild cough.why this happen to me,Kindly advice

cough with phlegm can be due to upper resp / lower resp tract infections
if phlegm is yellow to green it means there was a bacterial infection
if cough is relieved due to antibiotics no need to worry but if cough persists then you have to visit a pulmonologist who can get a chest xray and rule out other causes like tuberculosis/ pneumonia
