What Causes Cough And Excessive Sweating?

I was. Diagnosed with pneumonia & giving a series of antibiotics along with a steroid it s been 3 wks I m done with all meds I still have a cough & I m fatigued , my main concern is the excessive sweating I feel like I m overheated constantly to the point my clothing is actual wet It is very concerning is this normal ?

Thanks for your question on HCM. No it isnot normal to have such sweating. In my opinon you should get done repeat chest x ray for evaluation of your pneumonia. Weather it is resolved or as it is or increased. If it is same or increased than you need to consult pulmonologist and get done Bronchoscopy and BAL analysis for isolation of organism. Since you are still having cough and sweating I think you are still having pneumonia. So consult pulmonologist and discuss these. You may need further antibiotics.
