I would advise him the following in such a situation: Soap-water enema to cleans the bowel. Colonoscopy CT scan of the abdomen Surgical intervention for correcting the problems. Further treatment as per the findings. If there is nothing surgical, the enema itself may be sufficient as it cleans the fecoliths which can be a problem. Ask him to avoid all the foods and beverages that cause such a problem and take a laxative for a few days if required.
