What Causes Constipation And Lump Near Anus?

I have been constipated past day and half and this morning was really straining to have a bm, I did but it was difficult and now there is a lump right above my anus. I have been taking pain medication due to a surgery. I am wondering if I should do a laxative suppository to get feces out or just take a stool softner?

Hi
Thank you for asking HCM
I have gone through your query.Your problem is most likely due to haemorrhoids. It is better to have a digital examination by a general surgeon to rule out this.In case of that stool softners will be helpful.I usually advise lactulose syrup or cremaffin syrup for this.If pain and discomfort is there then i advise creams like proctsedyl which contain anesthetic cinchocaine hydrochloride and corticosteroid hydrocortisone.Hope this may help you.
Let me know if you have any further query.
Thanks..
