What Causes Constipation And Burning Sensation While Urinating?

Hello.. I am suffering from last two weeks.. I have lil bit constipation and whenever stool came they always burning and I have frequently urination whenever I drink water it s also burning but it has normal colour...and I also feel pain in left side or right mostly left of lower abdomen.. I think I also have stomach infection.. What should I do I m worried.. I m just 20.. I feel fear to go to doctor for checkup.. I m scared..

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of constipation and burning sensation while urinating . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like gastroenteritis , food poisoning , lactose intolerance , electrolyte imbalance , irritable bowel syndrome and crohn's disease. I would suggest you to consult gastroenterologist for proper examination. Doctor may order stool test , ultrasound , endoscopy along with that take history. Doctor may prescribe laxative , ornidazole or albendazole along with ranitidine. You should take diet rich in fibres and take plenty of fluids. For now eat light and non spicy food substances. You should avoid food like seafood and nuts , take antacid after every meal and keep your head elevated while lying down. Also consult urologist for proper examination and treatment for UTI.
