What Causes Constant Vaginal Bleeding In A PCOD Patient?

Am 24 year old having pcod disorder , since one month am suffering from bleeding I took tab meprate 10 mg 7 days ago irregularly that mease after 15 day bleeding I took one tab mepret so that my bleeding is completely stopped again it s started in the third day again I took b.d dose 2 days and od dose one day I stopped afterwords again Its started bleeding I consulted gynaec she told me that tab meprate to continue till one month in tid dose one week and bd dose one week and od dose one week and I started to take its already 4 day my bleeding is not et stopping am getting cramping dragging pain why my bleeding is not stopping

Hi, I think you should go for evaluation first. Get a thyroid profile and prolactin level done to see if there is any other cause of heavy bleeding. You can take tranexamic acid 1gm 3 times a day and primolut N or meprate 10 mg 3 times per day for 3 to 5 days to stop the bleeding. If not stopped, you may need a therapeutic D and C to stop the bleeding. Talk to your doctor regarding this. Hope it helps.
