Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Constant Tingling Numbness In Legs Post A Bilateral Varicocelectomy?
I had bi-lateral vericocelectomy year ago. Ever since the surgery, I get constant tingling and numbness in my legs when I lay on my side. I seen my urologist and a neuro nurse and they could not find out what is wrong. Can I suffer from severe nerve damage from the surgery and what can I do to fix it.
Thanks for asking at Healthcare Magic. I read your question and I understand your concern. Varicocelectomy does not cause these symptoms as in testicular region there are nerves that have no interaction in thigh or leg region. You need workup for this. Do MRI lumbosacral spine and nerve conduction studies of lower limbs. Take Pregabalin (lyrica) and vit B12. Let the doctor see your reports of MRI and Nerve conduction studies. Hope it helps best.
