What Causes Constant Sneezing And Blocked Nose?

Hi, plz plz plz help me with this. I have extremely chronic allergy that remains 10 months an year. Starts from plenty of sneezing in the morning and then almost all the time blocked nose and water type mucus comes all the time. I ve tried almost everything but there is no permanent cure. Plz for God sake help me. Thanks

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of constant sneezing and blocked nose which seems to be due to sinus infection leading to sinusitis. In your case the symptom are probably occurring due to allergic rhinitis . Need not to worry. I would suggest you to visit ENT specialist once and get it examined. You should get paranasal sinus x-ray done so as to detect level of infection and treatment can be started accordingly. You should avoid use of spicy, sharp oily and fried food substances. You should take combination of antibiotic Levofloxacin along with antihistamine such as Levocetirizine. You should do warm saline rinses 3-4 times a day. You should avoid cold carbonated beverages. Apply mist humidifiers in room. You should take throat soothing agents. Avoid applying any cosmetic on face .
