Hello,

I can understand your concern. Vaginal discharge that does not have any smell or color is considered normal. Discharge with foul odor is always an indication that some infection has taken place and it needs to be treated.

I would say that you are thinking in the right direction and should go for vaginal swab. After the test results, treatment can be recommended.

I hope this opinion helps you. Thanks you for choosing HealthcareMagic. Let me know if you have any follow up questions.

Best,
Dr. Viraj Shah
