What Causes Constant Sleepiness In A Person Smoking Methamphetamine?

Hello, I began snorting meth approximately 2 weeks ago unfortunately. I have a previous addiction to adderall but was clean already when I tried meth. I have done it basically every day, but I usually sleep every night (I believe I have only stayed up through the night about 3 times). I usually don t even think about eating, no appetite whatsoever until I stop for a day, so my diet it really poor. I am about 5 , prob down to 115- 120 lbs now. Anyway I did not use from last night all through today, until tonight. I did a line, and somewhere between 30 min to an hour later another line. I laid in need with my husband and realized I was nodding off. I think I passed out twice, but I awoke from a sort of cough. My throat has been messed up for a few days too. Anyway considering I did not do a lot I am wondering if it is still possible I am borderline OD? It feels different than all the other times, in my body instead of my mind, not speedy at all, extremely mellow and still able to fall asleep if I allow myself to relax for a second. Is it safe to go to sleep?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
dear patient. i understand your problem. Unfortunately your brain has got weaker and unable to tolerate the stimulatory effects of methamphetamine. If you continue with meth ,a time will come when you fall into severe clinical depression ,which will almost impossible to treat.
its high time to stop the addiction. you can go to sleep and relax now.But stop the meth immediatly. otherwise you will develop permanent brain damage.Improve your nutrition.Consult a psychiatrist for further advice.
have a good health. Focus on your nutrition and try eat as healthy as possible. And become clean for good.
