General & Family Physician 's  Response
hello there.i read your history and understand your concern.

the near constant ringing you are experiencing is tinnitus and please understand in most cases its doesnt have a serious cause and not to be worried over.

since you have mentioned there is no associated symptoms, many causes can be ruled out.if you are having no history of trauma or fall or familial history of ear disorders,
the most probable diagnosis of what you are experiencing is due to wax clogging your inner ear and ear canal and can be easily cured by removal of wax by a ent specialist (will have to use wax dissolving drops for a few days,if wax is hard and impacted for making removal easier).

after wax removal ,please make sure water doesnt fall into the ears while bathing and not to poke the ear canal with sharp objects or even earbuds

Another cause as you are a middle aged female is your age itself.with passing age your hearing tends to deteriorate so does your vision.

Please consult an ophthalmologist and do a vision test and examination for the same.

hope i have clarified your doubts .followup if any doubts are there..good day
