What Causes Constant Pale Pink Discharge From The Incision After A Gallbladder Surgery?
My son had his gallbladder out thursday morning and today (sunday) he still has a constant pale pale pink discharge from the incision right below his belly button... He is changing his sleeping shorts and t shirt about 6 times a day and sleeping on a heavy towel at night....When he was in the hospital (2 days) they had a drain attached to him which the nurse would come in and empty and it was a pink liquid...Should I take him back in or call the surgeon..??? Thank you

it is not a big problem post surgery. discharge can come for few days. i suggest you to wait and watch for about a week. if any other problem occur, you should take him to the surgeon
