What Causes Constant Pain In The Knee With Torn Meniscus?
I am suffering constant knee pain - I know I have some torn meniscus in right knee, but for the last number of months I've been unable to even get out of chair or walk without pain in my entire leg (both right and left) but more pronounced in my right. I've had cortisone shots in right knee and it seemed to help for some time. Both knees are swollen, but more pronounced in my Rt knee. I wear an elastic wrap on the Rt knee. Is there something more happening do you think that's causing the constant pain? I need to find an orthopod in NJ who takes Medicare.
Hi, There are plenty of condition in which there are pain and swelling in the knee joint which must be treated or it may lead to further damage, stiffness n fixed deformity . Now if it is already diagnosed mensci tear then you should undergo operative intervention (arthroscopic) to fix your problem . If not diagnosed then you should visit orthopaedics centre get diagnosed ant treated accordingly.
thanks n regards
