What Causes Constant Numbness In The Soles Of Feet?

FOR A FEW WEEKS NOW I HAVE A FEELING OF NUMBNESS IN THE SOLES OF MY FEET - MORE ON THE RIGHT SIDE - BEHIND THE BIG TOE - LIKE I HAVE A QUARTER IN MY SOCK - LIKE I HAVE LUMPS IN MY SOLES - HOWEVER WHEN I MASSAGE MY FEET I DO NOT FEEL ANY LUMPS - ALSO THE PAIN GETS WORSE IF I AM SITTING OR WALKING - WHAT COULD BE THE CAUSE

Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
Experiencing numbness in the feet could be due to two reasons:
1. Varicose veins.
2. Vitamin B12 and Thiamine deficiency.
Kindly get checked for Varicose veins by consulting Surgeon. It would cause proper circulation in the affected limb leading to ischaemic numbness.
In case that is not the cause, kindly take Multivitamin capsules once daily for a month along with antioxidant Vitamin E capsules.
Your symptoms should subside gradually.
