Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I ve got mild discomfort in my left testicle and it bunches up when I strain. The angle is off. It is higher than my right testicle and there is obvious bunching (tautness) above the testicle when felt. The discomfort used to be occasional yet it s pretty constant (again not pain, just discomfort).
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. After going through the description about your problem of pain in testicle and ejaculation, it appears that you might have developed 'varicocele' or 'orchitis'. Varicocele is an abnormal enlargement of the pampiniform venous plexus in the scrotum, which are blood vessels draining the testicles. It can be treated by a surgery or non-surgical treatments. Orchtis is infection of testis. Both these conditions can be diagnosed by clinical examination, but can be reliably diagnosed with ultrasound examination of scrotum. They can be treated by a surgery or non-surgical methods. Hence, kindly get an ultrasound of your scrotum and visit Surgeon with report for further management. In the meanwhile, give scrotal support so that testis will not keep sagging in the scrotum. Hope the information given is helpful. All the best.
