My brother has a constant cough and wheezing. His oxygen level keeps dropping. He is currently in the hospital. They are testing him for everything but have not found anything. He does not smoke and would be considered healthy. What should the hospital be testing him for?
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have constant cough and wheezing which is due to severe upper respiratory tract infection. Need not to worry. You should take antibacterial drugs such as Levofloxacin along with anti-inflammatory drug. Take diet rich in multivitamins. Drink plenty of water. Take hot milk rich in turmeric as it will boost immunity. Take nimesulide along with paracetamol. Apply wet cold sheets on your head to lower down body temperature. Apply wet cold sheets on your head to lower down body temperature. Avoid hot, spicy and sharp food substances. Take diet rich in multivitamins and vitamin C. Your symptoms will resolve in 4-5 days. If symptoms keeps on persisting visit ENT specialist once and get some routine blood investigation done. You should get x-ray chest done and get it examined.
