What Causes Constant Abdominal Pain Along With Diarrhea In A Child?

I have a little girl that complains of her stomach hurting quite regularly. She complains of it hurting in the mornings before she has eaten, but also after she has eaten too. She has had diarrhea twice within the last two weeks. We wonder if she has a gluten problem, celiacs or some other food related issue.

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

It is possible that she has a reaction to some foods - food intolerance but GERD should also be considered.
Reflux can also occur in children as well and it is associated with pain in the mornings.

You can try writing a food diary to determine if there are particular foods that cause her discomfort. If you can determine whether this is the case , then these can be eliminated from her diet.

I hope this helps
