Hello
Thank you for your query
Based on the symptoms, I would like to rule out pituitary and
testosterone hormone imbalances.
-does he have any other medical issues or take any medications?
-any changes in bowel habits and bowel movements?
-does he smoke or consume alcohol?
- any other symptoms like breathing difficulty,
headaches, vision disturbances, chest discomfort?
I recommend :
- a physician consult
- blood tests to check pituitary,
estrogen and testosterone hormone levels in addition to
complete blood count, liver and kidney function tests, lipid profile
-biopsy of the
thyroid growth.
- a CT scan of the brain may be required to check for pituitary tumor.
-if all is fine, depressive disorder may need to be ruled out.
Hope this helps. Please do the above as soon as possible.
Please let me know if there is anything else I can help you with.
Wish you both good health
