What Causes Cold Sores In Nose & Lip?

I have experienced a recurring cold sore between my nose and lip since I was 5 or 6 years old (I m 28 now). Recently, I m having the same symptom under my eye below my bottom lash-line. I thought it was a stye, but there s no defined head. I m worried I might have something different. What could it be?

ENT Specialist 's  Response
small vesicular blisters like lesions may appear near nose ,lips, eye along with cold, flu and fever and may be recurrent, are usually due to viral infection (Herpes) in past. Usually they subside in few days without treatment. If they occur very frequently then a course of anti viral antibiotic may be helpful, else attention to building immune system, vitamins , and application of skin lotion, cream (antiviral preferably) may suffice.
