What Causes Cold And Sweats During Pregnancy

Hello, I am 17 weeks pregnant and about once a week have very bad cold sweats. Its to the point other people see me and become worried. I lose all color in my face a last for about 10 to 15 minutes. Most times i can't even stand. Since the begin of my pregnancy I have lost 45 pounds and feel dizzy most days from the daily nausea. I am not anemic nor dehydrated through. I asked my doctor but he doesn't seem to be worried. I'm not sure whats happening and too tried all the time. Is there anything that could be causing pregnancy to be so difficult? or anything I could do?

Hello ma'am and welcome.

From the provided information, and your doctors aloof attitude it seems as though the issue could not be too serious, but I do although suspect hypoglycaemia and would request you to increase your intake of food.

You should understand that you now have to eat for two, and if at all you are still eating the same amount then this could be causing hypoglycaemia, which in turn explains your symptoms.

Best wishes.
