What Causes Cloudy Urine After Removal Of Urethral Stents?

I am a 31 year old woman who had two ureteral stents removed two days ago. Last night, I started seeing cloudy, butter to daffodil colored urine with a smell like an outhouse in the sun - strongly ammonia. I have no pain and no fever. My urologist says As long as you are not having any pain or burning symptoms, I think it s safe to observe for now. Should I insist on having some tests run, or is it reasonable to wait and see what happens? If so, which ones? I find this problem to be very uncomfortable and embarrassing. What can I do to stop the smell?

Hello and welcome to HCM.
As an Urologist, i must advise you to, mention your age, medication being taken, and last test reports.
An urine culture after stent removal and ultrasound scan of abdomen, after
removal is also needed.
You can send me a copy of theese reports here, in my name, for an expert advice.
Maintain drinking about 12 glasses fluids daily. Lime juice is helpful to some.
