What Causes Clogged Ears After Neck Injury Treatment?

I am 37 years old 5 4 and 170 lbs. I was in car accident on Sun. 11/30 and went to hospital for neck pain CT scan ok. I have clogged ears today like there is water in them today 12/2. Is this something to be concerned about? I do not think I hit my head.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi
Thanks for your query.
Noted your history of car accident giving you neck pain, got normal CT scan of the neck. But developed clogged ears after 2 days as if there is fluid in the ear.
Yes, this can be due to the car accident, manifesting a bit late although might have been missed by you and your Doctor.
I would advise you the following:
Get an opinion of an ENT surgeon so that the exact diagnosis as to whether there is fluid collection inside of the ear drum is present or not can be confirmed and the treatment can be planned.

Till you see a Doctor, instill decongestant nasal drops, do not blow the nose and so on.
Further treatment will depend upon the results.
