What Causes Clicking Sound And Feeling In Throat?

Hi! I ve been having a weird clicking sound and feeling in my throat more on the right side. It is not my ear popping, but definitely lower in my throat. I can feel it if I lightly put my hand on my throat. My throat also frequently feels very dry and almost like something is in it. It also always feels like I need to burp. I don t have any pain or hoarseness. I used to have heartburn, but I ve lost about 25 lbs and I don t notice it as much anymore. I do drink, don t smoke, but 15 or 20 years ago, in my 20 s, I sometimes smoked when I went out to bars with friends. It was never very much or on a regular basis. I am still about 30 lbs. overweight. 41 years old, female Thanks!

ENT Specialist 's  Response
May be you are experiencing laryngeal crepitus......get your blood sugar checked....also you seem to be a case of GERD or can be a case of hiatus hernia....a Barium swallow can help in the diagnosis...also get your iron profile done...if nothing shows up anywhere we'll call it as globus hystericus
