What Causes Clear Vaginal Discharge?

Good day doctor, I have been married for 11yrs without an issue. I do ovulate but after my ovulation , say 5 to 6 day I will be having some colourless discharge like egg white. Thereafter I will miss my period like 5 days, then the blood will start flowing. Please doctor, what could be d possible cause? Thanks

Egg white discharge per vagina or creamy white discharge is a common symptom in reproductive age group ladies who have got infected with Candida. The mainstay of treatment is anti fungal crème like Cotrimazole or Nizral oint. Please ask for any such complaint in your partner's sex organs. Then both of you will have to apply the crème.
Fungal Infections usually don't occur in everyone. Search for a cause of immune deficiency. heck our Fasting Blood Sugar and HbA1c an Iron and Vit levels.

If the problem recurs or doesn't go you have to take a course of Ciprofloxacin 500 mg twice a day and Flagyl 500 mg twice a da for 7 days to do away any other concomitant infection.
