I went to the urgent care on tuesday because i was having signs of a uti. The doctor took a urine sample and told me even though she was waiting on the culture results she was sure i had a uti and started me on bactrum. Today i finally called the doctor back to check on my results and they said it was in fact a uti but that they had me on the wrong antibiotics for the certain bacteria im fighting and are putting me on cipro. I just got done using the restroom and there was a thick clear slimy discharge. Is this normal? And also when will i finally start getting some relief? I am in excruciating pain and honestly ibuprofen and cystex just isnt cutting it. Ive also been drinking tons of water. It just seems relentless.
