What Causes Clear Fluid Oozing Blisters Between Toes?

Hi I thought I had athletes foot starting between my 4th and 5th toes. It just felt like it was about to start? Idk. Anyway, I felt it all day at work so when I got Home from work I looked and it ended up being a couple blisters. I popped them and cleaned them up with peroxide and an hour later put rubbing alcohol on them. Before bed I put athletes foot cream on just to be sure. In the morning I put more athletes foot cream on after my shower before I went to work. When I got home from work today I put more rubbing alcohol on it hoping to dry it out. Now I ve had a paper towel between my toes for a few hours and they are still oozing clear fluid. Do I put the athletes foot cream on again and hope it starts to heal? I m not even sure it is athletes foot? It doesn t bother me except that I know it s openly oozing clear fluid

Hi.
As per your case history you may be having either athletes foot or bacterial infection.
My treatment advice is -
1. Don't use peroxide or alcohol, it may cause excessive drying of lesion.
2. Use potassium permanganate granules in water in dilution of 1:10000 for washing the affected area.
3. Use an antibiotic cream like fusiderm on lesion
4. Other treatment options include oral antibiotics and oral antifungals.

Thanks.
