What Causes Circular Red Patches On The Arms, Legs And Hips?
My male friend gets 1-2 inch circular patches, dark red in the center fading to light red. They are tender and start out raised. They are located on his arms and legs and last about a week. Also, his lips swell. There has been no change in his diet, etc. He has a history of Rocky Mountain spotted fever and Lyme disease. He has not been to any forested areas in a year. He has seen a doctor.
