What Causes Chronic Pain In The Lower Back On The Left Side?

I have chronic pain in lower left area of my back, just above my hip. The pain generates a burning sensation down both my legs causing stiffness and impacts my mobility and gait when I walk. When I stand it takes a couple of minutes for me to get my balance, and while walking I am bent forward over my toes and my knees come together. I can barely lift my legs to make a full and complete stride when I am walking and can remain up right and walking for 5 minutes or so then I need to sit because my legs feel fatigued.

Hi,
sorry for your sufferings,
You didnt mention your age, sex, body weight which is important.

My openion :
1.You have to check out for any bones problem in your lower back. Sometime respective nerve become compress and causing pain.

2.Have to maintain weight, and to do regular some exercise.

3.physiotherapy may be helpful.
4.Analgesic medication

so, first you have to consult a physician to find out actuall problem through some investigation and you should take treatment accordingly.
