What Causes Chronic Pain In Kidneys Along With Blood In Urine?

Hi Doc,I have severe pain in my left keadney.I did knock it very hard a few weeks ago and had a voltarin injection.I also drink about a bottle of wine each night,so am thinking this could also be the cause.However,I am 43 yrs old and have recently become sexually active and the pain started to get really bad afterwards.There is some blood in my urine,but I am on contaceptive.3 Month injection.What could be wrong. t

Hi thanks for asking question.

You have blood in urine.
Get your urine microscopic examination.

Here it could be kidney infectious condition like pyelonephritis or glomerulonephritis.
USG also helpful.If needed treated with antibiotic or steroid .

You are also complaining pain after sex and you are sexually active. .so you could have pelvic inflammatory disease like condition.
Urine culture and sonography useful for it.

X ray and USG also rule out stone if present that can lead pain.
