What Causes Chronic Pain In Back Of Head, Neck And Spine?

My sister is complaining of chronic pain in the back of her head and neck and spine. And when she blows her nose the pain increases. She thinks it is a sinus infection as she has no known allergies but the pain is getting worse. Should she be seen?

hi,

thanks for the brief history. As you mentioned the pain in the neck, upper back and spine, I will say kindly meet a doctor and get checked once while taking one neck x-ray or an MRI if he feels it is a must. post that you may need some medicine for pain relief for which a physician can take care off after hands on examination. later on doing regular exercise for neck muscles to get strength and regular breathing exercises to sinus issues will help.

strengthen the muscles of the neck, upper back and spine are utmost importance as to avoid future pains for which you can visit aa physcial therapist who will assist you after reassessing.

with the grace of God I wish your sister a speedy recovery
