What Causes Chronic Pain And Swelling In Eyes?
i have to go to a pain clinic for chronic pain behind my eyes, i have had this consistently on and off for about 7 years. have also had numerous tests such as thyroid tests and MRI tests for inflammatory disease and everthing has come back with a negative result have talked to a nuerologist and optomologist and a optomotrist no one can figure out what is wrong. but my eyes will get swollen and puff out and it is very painful and when i bend over and out any pressure it gets worse. At any rate I am going to a pain clinic and they want to give me a sinus block, what is that?

Your problem is pain behind eye at times Swollen and puffed out means proptosis. You may repeat some of test like thyroid function test, MRI of brain to locate pituitary body and optic chiasma Since eye is the pip hole of brain, you may, consult neurologist again.Stop all medicine during investigation and consultation.It appears more a neurological problem.
